2024 Florida Keys & Everglades: Day 1

Hello parents and Bullis community,
7th graders have arrived smoothly in Key Largo! After touchdown, we trekked by bus from Miami Airport to our restaurant in Key Largo, enjoyed a sunset buffet along the gulf, and had our first taste of key lime pie for dessert.
Students are all checked into their rooms and have been debriefed on an early rising tomorrow, where we’ll spend the morning snorkeling on the cusp of the third largest coral reef in the world, behind the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and the Mesoamerica Barrier Reef off the coast of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.
We will be sending memorable updates each evening, and we know you’ll anticipate hearing about tomorrow’s adventures through the descriptive writing skills from the kids themselves!
